They offer all kinds of other activities like:
Tubing!
Get Tubular
No
winter vacation to Lake Tahoe is
complete until you have raced down the tubing hill at Sierra-at-Tahoe ® Resort
in a gigantic doughnut. The
lift-accessed tubing hill includes 425-feet of high banked turns, rollers and a
surface and is so slick and quick, tubers gliding by are nothing but a blur of
smiles.
Snowshoeing
Want
to have fun while burning off some of those holiday meals? Did you know that
snowshoeing burns 550-750 calories per hour? Well, here at
Sierra-at-Tahoe® Resort, we
support your fitness goals. Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort maintains three miles of
snowshoe trails that wind through scenic hideaways and pristine alpine
terrain. Interpretive signs lining
the trail system explain wildlife and other interesting facts about the Sierra
Nevada. Take a self-guided romp through the woods and enjoy the mountain
environment.
Another
awesome perk of skiing at Sierra is they have childcare!
Finding a sitter for little ones who aren't ready to hit the slopes isn't always easy on vacation. Sierra-at-Tahoe ® Resort alleviates this problem by offering Wild Mountain Daycare, a licensed childcare center (#093600514) located right at the base of the mountain. Half and full day childcare is available for children ages 18-months to 5-years. Don't worry about your child being potty-trained, at Wild Mountain Day Care they don't need to be.
